I also found this and cannot seem to determine a “true north” direction of transmittance, and I know I know it’s 360° radar output but at the same time as you said it does get better input/output from different areas of the board….I just want to know if anyone else has done any more research on this…?

Although it is not directional but I found detection ranges very In different directions with respect to the board. Thanks

When the Wi-Fi connection is enabled, the module generates intermittent misjudgments. This is the current issue I am facing. Everything works fine without Wi-Fi, but when the Wi-Fi connection is on, it becomes unstable. It is prone to misjudgments influenced by either its own signal or neighboring Wi-Fi signals. Is there a solution to this issue?

Hi. I’m not sure.
But, maybe you can set the data pin to LOW.

Sara

To switch off transmition.

Hi.
What do you mean by deactivate? Stop detecting motion?

Sara

Is it possible to activate/deactivate motion sensor in the sketch?

I’ve even tried to wrap it up in Al foil to see if a metal housing (or U-profile) would stop the radiation, but no. Anyone got lucky to make it directional ?

Best of luck,
Leo

Sorry I keep talking about raspberry pi in this tutorial, which is dedicated to esp32.
just one last thing.
There is apparently a version 2 of picamera
